Area Valve Box

Area valve boxes are given to isolate a sector of the hospital in order to prevent supply disruption to the entire facility in the event of an emergency, maintenance, repair, periodic testing, or planned future expansion. In a medical gas pipeline system (MGPS), area zonal valve boxes are installed in all gas, including vacuum. This valve box has gas and vacuum connections, as well as an analogue pressure gauge for testing the facility's emergency supply connection to the Medical Gas Alarm System. The valves are horizontally arranged, and the housing is made of MS with a mat finish and a window that is easy to open in the event of an emergency, as well as a top entrance connection. This layout allows the valve box to be placed in an easily accessible location for medical personnel, preventing unlawful tampering.
